Alan GoodmanAlan Goodman was raised in Brooklyn and still lives in New York City where the variety of people he has met and events he has experienced over a twenty-seven-year career with the NYPD have helped him offer his seminar participants an exciting and insightful learning experience. Alan combines his NYPD career with a twenty-year career as a consultant and presenter for the USDA Graduate School and offers seminars on a variety of professional development subjects to the private and government sectors. Specializing in Ethical Fitness Seminars® as a Master Trainer for the renowned Institute for Global Ethics, Alan has spent over ten years working with organizations such as the United Nations, the US Customs Service, the US Coast Guard and a variety of federal, state, and local agencies to help create an environment where ethics and values drive decisions.

In addition to his workshops and seminars, Alan speaks at meetings for a variety of organizations such as the United States Office of Government Ethics, the Association of Government Accountants and Certified Financial Managers, Wellness Conferences, and many others.

Alan's academic background includes a BA degree in Sociology from Queens College (City University of New York), a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and a Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design and Training from the New York Institute of Technology. In addition to the faculty of the USDA Graduate School, he has been on the faculty at John Jay College and is on the faculty of New York City’s Department of Citywide Administrative Services Management Development Branch.
