Sheila Bloom

Sheila was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and has a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Language from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. She has worked in the arts, public relations, and international advertising and marketing. She joined the Institute for Global Ethics as a volunteer in 1994, becoming full-time UK Trust director in 1996. Sheila is an accredited trainer of the Institute's Ethical Fitness® Seminar. She co-edited Ethics and Citizenship: Tools for Moral Decision-Making, published by Hodder & Stoughton in July 2002, and was a contributor to Business Ethics: Facing Up to the Issues, published by Economist Books (2001).

Sheila is a fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce (RSA), and was a founder member of the RSA Forum for Ethics in the Workplace.
