IGE UK Public Policy
In 1999, supported by the Comino and Gordon Cook Foundations, IGE UK undertook a long-term project on values and responsibility in society, entitled "Building a Responsible Society" that would seek to encourage a culture of increased personal responsibility throughout the United Kingdom. The project has as its vision:
"A society in which people throughout the United Kingdom feel encouraged and empowered to exercise personal responsibility in their individual lives and wider communities."
As part of the "Building a Responsible Society" project, IGE UK has organized a series of consultations at St George's House, the study centre within Windsor Castle:
