Rockland, ME -- The Institute for Global Ethics is holding a trainer workshop for teachers next week in their Rockland facility. Teachers from schools as far apart as Maine and Georgia will attend this three day event. The Building School Culture™ Train-the-Trainer workshop is designed to help teachers, staff, and administrators build awareness about why ethics matter, come together around their core ethical values and their common purpose in schools, and consider ways to forward ethics across their school culture. In addition to becoming certified to deliver the Building School Culture™ workshop, trainer's schools can participate in the Institute's basic School Culture Assessment, as well as access additional enrichment activities to highlight and expand learning from the workshop. Graham Phaup, the Institute's executive director said that, "We are grateful to Camden National Bank for their sponsorship of local teachers in this important work." Maine schools in Camden, Ellsworth, Hampden, and Rockland have all benefited from this sponsorship.

April 14: 9:00am - 4:00pm
