Rockland, Maine (March 10) —The Institute for Global Ethics, a leader in ethics training, today announced the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) approval of its Ethical Fitness® / Moral Courage™ portfolio of services.
The GSA is the procurement arm of the federal government. The GSA Schedule establishes government contracts with commercial firms, which helps federal government offices order services directly from GSA Schedule firms, creating a link between customers and the services they require at predetermined pricing.
Federal customers can access information about IGE’s services through the GSA Schedules e-Library (http://www.gsaelibrary.gsa.gov/) by searching by the contract number (Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) GS-10F-0101V), “Ethics,” or other keywords referencing the service being sought. They can also place orders on-line through GSA Advantage (http://www.gsaadvantage.gov/).
About the Institute for Global Ethics:
The Institute for Global Ethics, established in 1990, is an independent, nonsectarian, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and works to explore the global common ground of values, elevate awareness of ethics, and provide practical tools for making ethical decisions.
Founded by Dr. Rushworth M. Kidder, the Institute’s mission is “to promote ethical behavior in individuals, institutions, and nations through research, public discourse, and practical action.”
The Institute offers a series of training programs and consulting services for corporate, education, and non-profit clients. It offers numerous publications for sale and provides speakers for a wide variety of events. The Ethical Fitness® Seminar, the Institute’s flagship training program based on Dr. Kidder’s landmark 1996 book, How Good People Make Tough Choices: Resolving the Dilemma of Ethical Living, provides individuals with the tools they need to identify and resolve the toughest of ethical dilemmas – those that pit two deeply held values against each other in a right-versus-right paradigm.
