It's time for school leaders to get out in front of the crowd and make it look like a parade.” That’s the conclusion of coauthors Patrick Bassett, Paul Houston, and Rushworth Kidder in “Building Character in Crisis,” published in the July 15, 2009 edition of Education Week.
The Institute for Global Ethics spoke with six secondary school leaders to learn how ethics and values contribute to leadership effectiveness. Those leaders offered five key recommendations.
