Taking Responsibility for Ethical Cultures
A Leadership Retreat for Those who Shape Your School's Culture
The Institute for Global Ethics, the leader in classroom tools and schoolwide approaches to Ethical Fitness®, invites you to TREC — Taking Responsibility for Ethical Cultures — an affordable, three-day leadership retreat for making schools more ethical places.
TREC will equip your team with the tools and skills to build a more-positive school climate through schoolwide appreciation and support for ethical literacy.
Through TREC, you and your leadership team will learn to:
- Navigate the tough ethical dilemmas that can impact parent and community relations, faculty development, and student behavior
- Use the language of ethics in day-to-day, values-based interactions with parents, staff, and students
- Present and broadcast your case for why ethics matters to your students and to the future of the world
- Build long-term, schoolwide commitment to ethical literacy
Great school leadership provides the inspiration and modeling for an effective learning environment. Our Ethical Fitness® process will unite your leadership team and make a positive difference to your school community!

* Please note: TREC participants already must have completed an Ethical Fitness® Seminar. (A schedule can be found here.)
TREC workshops are available throughout the year and can be arranged worldwide. The Institute also specializes in tailoring seminars to the particular needs of your school. And because we travel all over the country, we can frequently charge lower travel costs when we serve two needs in a single area.
For more information, to register for a specific workshop, or to arrange for a custom TREC, please contact the Institute by phone (207-236-6658), email (pmirk@globalethics.org), or standard mail (P.O. Box 563; Camden, ME 04843).
