(Madison, Wis.) - On June 16, 2015, the Institute for Global Ethics (IGE)
welcomed back its Board of Directors to its headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin.
The meeting gave the Board an opportunity to discuss new initiatives as
well as review recent successes.
Institute President and CEO Anthony J. Gray noted the meeting’s success.
“IGE has made big strides this year, aided by our Board of Director’s
hard work,” said Gray.
“The Board of Directors provides me and the Institute with an invaluable
source of professional expertise and counsel,” said Gray. “We
were excited to have them back in Madison.”
After the meeting, the Institute hosted a community outreach event at one
of Madison’s premier restaurants, L’Etoile. Located on the
Capitol Square, the Board enjoyed meeting many members of Madison’s
vibrant business, academic, and political community.
This was the Board’s second annual meeting in Madison since IGE headquarters
transitioned to the Badger State in 2014. Previous to its relocation,
IGE was headquartered in Camden, Maine. The move, as new IGE Board Member
and Insurance Compliance Strategy Leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers Steve
Koslow explains, has greatly benefited the global think tank. “The
Institute, located right off the Capitol Square, is in a hub of innovation,”
With regular opportunities for collaboration with leading figures in education,
politics, and business, IGE is well situated to further advance its mission.
Paul S. McAuliffe, IGE Board Chairman and Executive Director of the Federal
Reserve Employee Benefits System, noted the Board’s satisfaction
with the Institute’s recent relocation.
“The Board has been pleased with the community’s response to
IGE,” said McAuliffe. “From businesses and government, to
schools and Universities, to religious organizations and not-for-profits,
the broader Madison community has welcomed the Institute with open arms.
We are enormously grateful for the generous welcome we've received.”
