(Madison, Wis.) - The Institute for Global Ethics is pleased to announce
today that its President and CEO, Anthony J. Gray, was newly appointed
to the Board of Directors for
Forward Community Investments (FCI). FCI is an organization dedicated to facilitating socially responsible
investments through community lending, advisory services, and other initiatives,
and has long been one of Wisconsin’s premiere resources for nonprofit,
cooperative, and profit-based businesses whose goals are to promote equality
across Wisconsin.
“I’m extraordinarily excited to be part of FCI,” said
Gray. “They represent everything we stand for at IGE, and they’re
a model for how to balance solid organizational management with social
action.”
Salli Martyniak has been running FCI since 2003, a position she took up
after working with the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority,
US Bank, Associated Bank, and the QTI Group. She’s spent the past
decade guiding FCI to the forefront of Wisconsin’s social-action
community.
"We're thrilled to have Anthony join the FCI family," said
Martyniak. "He brings a unique background and set of skills to the
organization. His guidance and oversight will be invaluable as we continue
to implement our new vision and mission, which emphasize working with
organizations and initiatives aimed at promoting social, racial, and economic
equity in Wisconsin communities."
