Marc Poland


Marc is a 30-year veteran of United Technologies' Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, where his leadership was instrumental in advancing its reputation for integrity and customer support across a global customer base. Marc also served as mentor to IGE CEO, Anthony J. Gray, while Gray managed Sikorsky's global ethics and compliance program. Since retiring from Sikorsky, Marc is now a partner in the development of High Cove, a N.C. community dedicated to the principles of life-long learning and sustainable development.

Steve Koslow


Steve is currently the VP, Chief Compliance officer for Allianz Life of North America, an Allianz Group company, where he leads the compliance team responsible for helping ensure the Company remains compliant with new and emerging laws and regulations. Allianz Life is a $15+B financial services company. Previously, Steve served as the Compliance Strategy Leader for PwC’s Insurance Practice and was the SVP, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer for CUNA Mutual Group, a $3+B financial services company providing insurance and financial services to credit unions and their members.

Koslow earned a bachelor’s degree with honors along with a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. He also holds a Juris Doctor from the Northwestern University School of Law. Koslow has published articles in several industry publications and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.

Paul McAuliffePaul S. McAuliffe


Paul was formerly Chief Ethics Officer at BD (Becton, Dickinson & Co.), is Executive Director of the Federal Reserve Employee Benefits System, where he oversees employee benefits and related compensation programs for 21,000 employees and 24,000 retirees of the Federal Reserve System.

Anne E.D. Kidder


Anne Elizabeth Kidder co-founded the Institute for Global Ethics with Rush Kidder and Kay Fanning in 1990 and also served as a Board member at the Institute for many years. Married to Rush Kidder, they raised two daughters. Anne is a former academic counselor with a long career of ministerial work, writing, child-raising, and volunteer leadership activities for community, church, arts, and environmental nonprofits. She is still active in the ministry of her church.

Anthony J. Gray


Prior to becoming IGE's President and CEO, Anthony served as Global Compliance Officer at Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. Mr. Gray worked as an associate attorney at Day Pitney LLP and served as Judicial Intern for Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Anthony was recently appointed a Distinguished Scholar at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, a trans disciplinary research institute at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Herman Baumann


Herman Baumann is a former journalist, health care marketer, Internet innovator, association executive, and business owner. His work in these areas, where ethics and trust are important overlays to most functions, led to his interest in IGE. Baumann is Board President of the Daily Cardinal Media Corporation, and is a volunteer instructor, coach and mentor for students working for The Daily Cardinal, the newspaper that has served UW-Madison since 1892.

He also serves on the boards of the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism and the Daily Cardinal Alumni Association, as well as on the Board of Visitors for the UW-Madison College of Letters and Science. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from UW-Madison. His career includes serving as: editor and managing editor for Chicago Suburban Times Newspapers, Director of Marketing for Children’s Memorial Hospital (now the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago), and Director of Strategic Development for the American Hospital Association. He recently retired from Green Line Strategies, LLC, a firm he founded in 2006.
